125 Years Van Gogh
To celebrate Van Gogh’s 125 years anniversary, we developed the campaign ‘125 questions to Van Gogh’. The social activation started off with a 3D movie about Vincent where we took his life as our inspiration. Using his paintings to map the places he lived in. The movie which was shared on social media invited fans to come up with ‘all they ever wanted to know’ questions about Van Gogh. The answers which were given by the museum’s curators where shared on social too.
The campaign that lasted 125 days resulted in a 20% growth of visitors for the Van Gogh Museum and won several awards like the SAN Award. The kick-off movie we made had over millions of views in the first weeks.
